Gestational Carrier & Surrogacy Psychological Evaluations
Supporting the emotional well-being and psychological preparedness of gestational carriers is an essential part of a safe and ethical surrogacy journey. In alignment with the guidelines set by the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), our thorough psychological evaluation is designed to assess a candidate’s mental health, emotional resilience, and readiness for the surrogacy process.
What Sets Us Apart?
To help ensure that every candidate is emotionally prepared and well-qualified to embark on the family planning journey, Makana Health follows a careful and customized evaluation process that includes the Personality Assessment Inventory (PAI), a well-established tool for understanding mental health and personality, as well as additional screening tools for depression and anxiety. All comprehensive mental health evaluations and consultations are completed via HIPAA-compliant video conferencing. Our services ensure privacy, accessibility, and personalized care in a secure virtual environment.
Makana Health champions diversity and inclusivity through ongoing expansion of our translation capabilities, making clinical evaluations and consultations accessible for every patient, regardless of language.
